Specialty Matcha Gift Set

In this matcha gift set you’ll find four of our highest quality specialty matchas, representing some of Japan’s finest single origin and blended teas. Here, we’re showcasing two extremely high quality single origin matchas along side two fantastic blends.

While terms like ‘ceremonial grade’ are mere marketing myths, we wouldn’t hesitate to serve any of these as koicha or usucha in a formal temae.

These four cans come in a wooden box for a classy presentation, making this the perfect gift for any matcha connoisseur.

To experience the many flavours of matcha, the four matchas included in this set each have a different taste profile:

• 20g Uji Hikari: a creamy, sophisticated, and bright matcha
• 30g Uji-no-Mori: a verdant and refreshing high-quality usucha
• 20g Kyōtanabe Gokou: a clear expression of Gokou’s signature aroma and flavour, with a deep body and notes of fresh edamame
• 20g Tsuji-no-Mukashi: Kiyoharu Tsuji’s highest quality blend exemplifies his skills as a tencha farmer and a chashi (茶師 – tea blender), creating a tea that is simultaneously classic and exceptional
